Cantemus meets Japan

Japan 2007

In the fall of 2007, a concert tour has been realized with the help of Hamburg culture authority and the Goethe Institute in Germany. This had not yet experienced the Hamburg children's choir.

We went to Japan to visit school choirs in Kaskabe, Tokyo, Nishinomya, Ossaka and Kobe. Throughout the experienced boys and girls in the school choir and an enthusiastic reception, many children got to know new friends.

The concerts were all well attended and especially the great concert halls have a lasting impression. At the end of the trip were deep impressions of a country that should rightly bear the name "Land of the Rising Sun".
